Saliba Douaihy (1909 – 1994) was a Lebanese painter and poet known for his significant contributions to modern Lebanese art. He was born in the village of Ehden in Northern Lebanon. Douaihy's work is characterized by his unique fusion of abstract and expressionist styles, often reflecting the landscapes, people, and culture of Lebanon.

His artistic journey began at an early age, and he later pursued formal art education at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) in Beirut. Douaihy's early works were influenced by the traditional artistic techniques and styles prevalent in Lebanon at the time. However, as he continued to evolve as an artist, he began incorporating more abstract and innovative approaches into his paintings.
